My 3 year old Toshiba X205's Screen recently gave up on me, it now randomly shows green colours mostly instead of black, within dos too(so gpu problem unlikely).
Does this sound like a screen problem or the inverter's bad?

Acer Travelmate 5740 issue
Hey!
I just bought an Acer Travelmate 5740 (core i3) (DOS installed) when i try to switch it on for the first time, after setting language, the next screen asks me to create a password and confirm it, now the problem is when i try to type a password, nothing appears on screen, there is no input into the password field. I can't move pass this step because i press next, the setup prompts me that i need to enter a password. Now, keyboard is working fine, all the function keys are working and i have successfully manage to enter the date and time values by F2 at startup and entering BIOS.
I need help about how can i proceed further from setting password step, i mean why can't i be able to enter a password during that step.

upgrade a cf-18 mk4 hdd
Does anyone know how large a hard drive I can put in to my CF-18 MK4 digitizer tablet without upgrading any other components?

So I'm thinking about upgrading my one computer from a 5400 RPM 3Gb/s to a 7200 or 10000 RPM 6Gb/s hard drive. Will this work? Will I have a major heat or power issue? Would it kill the motherboard? Have any of you done this before? Is there a better upgrade for my hard drive?

HT-C5500 error
I can't seem to use internet @tv since a firmware took place on my HT-C5500 the firmware in question is Htb-c5500wwb-1014.1.
Everytime i try it shows downloading and then installing but freezes for ages and nothing happens. every other function is fine. When checking the samsung support it tells me that my firmware should be BSP-C5500WWB-1020.1. I am confused which firmware should I have and also how do i reset my unit. I tried taken DVD out and pressing Stop for a while but nothing happens.

basic flash game help!!!
does anyone else have this problem? it lag very bad when playing basic flash game like facebook restaurant city... i can play it fine with my old xps m1330 and all my desktops but i cant play it on my overprice alienware .is it due to the screen resolution being too high and cause the adobe flash player to lag when playing? any idea guys? i'm a computer noob if this question seem little stupid. the computer can play games like blackops smoothly tho.
