I am looking for one that covers the back of the screen and the actual screen.
I just want to protect the notebook from any future blemishs.
I like the looks of the notebook so thats why I want a clear skin.
I will appreciate any help!
Thanks in advance everyone!

Awww I was hoping to come in and see a thread about clear laptop cases. As for a sticker to protect your laptop I dont know any reputable companies sadly. Im sure there are places out there that make something that will fit your needs.

zagg.com is known for there protective films. I have one on my 17 MBP. Pain to put on but it gives me major piece of mind.

Note: any clear skin will change the finish to whatever the appearance of the skin is. Zagg/BestSkinsEver/[other products that use similar material] tend to yellow with age and develop an orange peel texture when they dry. Incredibly durable, but it just won't look the same.

I checked with zagg invisibleSHIELDS and they have quite a few, but they dont have one for the Dell 1564 I just ordered.
I also found out that Ghost Armor has skins too. They actually have one for a Dell 1564 for $39.99. I am not to familiar with Ghost Armor though.

You can get invisible SHIELD and cut it to your laptop size. That could work

I'd imagine that this might be a cheaper solution. Find a local sign shop that does vinyl work. Bring in your laptop and ask if they can cut you a piece of clear high-performance vinyl. Shouldn't cost more than a couple dollars.
I used to work at a sign shop and we did alot of vinyl work. We always had small pieces laying around that we really couldn't use.
Once something is made with a specific intention, like a company that sells what they call "skins" they can charge more. When all they are doing is cutting sheets of vinyl, slapping a name on them and overcharging.
BTW, make sure you ask for high-performance vinyl. That type of vinyl is similar to the vinyl that automobile manufacturers use for pinstriping and lettering on vehicles.
Let me know how you make out.
