Best product to date stamp digital photos (jpeg)

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good / easy to use date stamp program. I am currently using Gene Photo Stamper 2.1.5. I find it to be the best of any date stamp software.

However, while it's fast at adding the date stamp, it can't differentiate between a picture in either portrait or landscape. If you happen to have both types in a folder you have to manually select one type of picture, then select the other type of pictures which is a pain. Also, I find it tedious to try to find the perfect spot on a picture to put the date stamp. Sites such as Kodak Easy Share Gallery use a cut and zoom feature, so you have to make sure that the date stamp is in the perfect spot before uploading it, otherwise you have to try again.

I would appreciate any info on any other programs out there that may date stamp photos better/easier.

I have a Canon Elph, it would be great if they made Zoombrowser with that feature. Currently, it will add a date stamp only if you print it out at home.

There is a easy-to-use tool which removes date stamps from multiple photos in a batch mode.
