Monster vs Western Digital for powerline

I have a corner in my house that is questionable for my wireless access, and running ethernet to this area is impractical. I have two linksys routers, a wrt610n as my main router with my main PC and some other peripherals connected to it, and another wrt54gs on my 2nd story that serves as a bridge repeater. DD-WRT is on both routers. With this setup though, the PC that is wired to this 2nd router has passable speeds, but anything connected wireless to the 2nd router is questionable.

Enter the powerline option(s), I was looking online at different options, and see on one site that there is a Western Digital Livewire complete kit for just over $100, and a Monster digital express that looks like basically the same thing that lists for $400, but is on for $200 right now. A quick look at the spec's doesn't show a lot of difference between the two that I can see.

I can see that this is probably the best option for me to get connectivity to this corner of my house, but I don't know a lot about this technology. Is this just a case of Monster branded stuff being way overpriced? (like their cables?) I can't find any reviews on the Monster kit, the one I can find on the Western Digital is pretty positive.

What I'd like to know is what, if anything, the Monster set has that justifies a list price almost 4X more?

Has anyone here used these powerline sets much?, would like to hear some feedback.
