Where can I buy a new battery for my ASUS?

I have a great X83VM-X1, which I bought from Best Buy in mid-2008. It has served me well so far, but the battery is (inevitably) worn out by now. I want to buy a replacement battery, but I don't know what model and where to buy it.



Could you help me with this? Thanks!

The asus estore has one but you can probably take the part number and find it cheaper somewhere else: 6-Cell Battery

I put in the first alternate part number into froogle and got this: ASUS Notebook battery - 6-cell



For my own machines, I've ordered batteries from provantage because I know they are a real asus reseller. You could also order it from the reseller that you bought the laptop from. Just try to avoid no-name places that sell lots of generic batteries because you will most likely end up with a copy and not a genuine asus battery.
