This is most definetly beta software. It is really clunky and I have difficulty logging on to anything on the need, yet it all works fine in Firefox. Has potential though.

Yes it's pretty nice, especially being able to run the 64-bit version with the 64-bit version of flash.

I can't seem to access the downloads manager in the 64-bit version. It has crashed for me a few times and doesn't always handle posting comments well.

i just ran it, and i didn't think it was possible.. but the UI IS BEAUTIFUL, i'll be switching over if i can find decent add-ons

It is a nice upgrade, but annoyances from previous IE's are still there. For example the password management still is bad. My homepage in all browsers is My Yahoo. When I open IE9, sometimes I am shown the generic My Yahoo page and need to log in while opening up Opera, FF, or Chrome I would be logged in and could see all my custom stuff (like my Gmail, Engadget/Gizmodo updates, ect).

Now IE is my first priority.

I think MS went a little overboard with trying to get the UI out of the way. For instance, the tabs seem very cramped there next to the address bar. I'd like to move them below the address bar, to where they were in IE8, but alas, that's not possible. I understand that they made the change based on tons of usage data, but at least they could've enabled some customisation.

Ah well, at least they didn't put the tabs on top.

BTW, here's a little tip: hit Ctrl+E to force the address bar into search mode. When in search mode, IE will skip checking whether you typed in a valid URL (and if you did, trying to load it) and instead will send your query straight to the search engine. Also, the suggestions list will have suggestions from the search provider at the top and matches from favourites/history at the bottom, rather than the other way around.
